As you all are probably aware, i very rarely post pics anymore (I let the website domain go about 4 years ago & it’s taken me 2 years to write this post!). Anyway, i thought it fitting (although somewhat tardy) to give Bombed out LA a final goodbye…. so, goodbye!

To everyone who read this blog (almost 10K a day at one point), shared my pics on social media, sent me tweets & DM’s & supported the site in general… THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. I loved every minute trawling the streets of LA finding cool ass shit that was sprayed on walls & then showing it all to you guys, it was an epic 4 years.

I am leaving this website up (in the free wordpress version), as a celebration to LA street art (from 2010 to 2014) & as a keepsake/pictorial journal of my first 4 years of living in LA, there are literally 100’s of pics of current (although mainly deceased) works of art from some of the greatest graffiti/street artists that have ever held a spray can or a bucket of wheat paste… so scroll away to your hearts content, make comments, right click, download, set as wallpaper!!! (But most of all, enjoy them.)

Final notes: I still take pics of graffiti whenever i see them, they are randomly splattered on my Instagram & twitter pages (among pics of my dog/cat/wife/food & my ever growing/ridiculous amount of Deadpool action figures), my user name for EVERYTHING on social media is theandyappleton …so i am easy to find (although most would say I’m predictable!).

And that’s it, it’s been a total pleasure, thanks for listening & enjoy the site… Oh, & here’s a pic i took the other day of a Lamborghini designed by Alex Choi!

Whenever I end up working in downtown LA, I always find talent attached to walls.
